Trying to find an affordable all-inclusive beach resort for your honeymoon can be a bit tricky, however if you want to consider going to Sharm El Sheik in Egypt, you will be in for a treat.
If you want to have a honeymoon getaway where you can escape the world that you live in and trade it for an abundance of sunshine, drinks, food and history, then opting to stay in Sharm El Sheik is a perfect option.
Why should you consider Sharm El Sheik as a honeymoon destination?
Sunshine
It rarely rains in Sharm-El-Sheik, so expect to soak up sunrays and experience clear blue skies during your stay. Don’t be surprised if temperatures rise to above 40 degrees. Although it’s hot, it is more of a dry heat and is perfect for diving into the pool so you can feel refreshed.
Beach
Sharm El Sheik is home to a number of beaches and also sits among one of the most beautiful reefs in the world. If you plan to lie down in the sunshine and bask by the sands of the sea, you will have plenty of options to do so here.
One thing to keep in mind is that the sea is quite flat. So you won’t be able to go for a surf. But it is good for doing bodyboarding.
Golf Courses
If you are a budding golfer, then you can enjoy yourself on some of the glorious fairways that Sharm has to offer.
Relaxing pools
You will find an abundance of pools in the resorts. Take a dive, get refreshed and feel amazing.
Entertainment
Many of the resorts provide onsite entertainment, however there’s also nightlife in the centre of the city. Head out to nightclubs, an array of restaurants or smoke flavoured tobacco in their cafes.
Camels
Fancy riding on a camel? You will find plenty of vendors offering you a ride in Egypt.
Snorkelling
Sharm El Sheik sits on one of the most amazing reefs in the world. Take a half or full day trip out into the ocean and enjoy snorkelling and seeing the array of colours the local aqualife has on offer.
Indulgence
Finally, pamper yourself. Opt for spa treatment, massages and relaxation therapy.
Where are some places that you should consider staying?
I’ve split the options into high-end, mid-tier and low budget options. Each of the options are recommended and should give you the best value for money, depending on what you can afford and the experience that you want to have at the resort.
